The bracelets are pure brass (more details below) and hand-stamped by Kat herself.

These hand-stamped cuffs are 100% brass (they're nickel-, lead- and aluminum-free), which means that they are very strong and will never turn silver-colored or black. With that said, they will develop a natural, antiqued look over time, which many wearers love. If you prefer a shinier, gold look, you can use any common brass polish, or rub some fine steel wool or scotch brite over the surface until it is polished to your liking.
Varying PH levels in skin can cause some people's jewelry to tarnish faster than others, and may leave a green residue on skin if worn while sweating. An easy trick to prevent this from happening is to apply a thin coat of clear nail polish to the inside of the jewelry.
